My guess is that TPG Credit did fabulously well on the investments it made in the space by Theoharides. As with all illiquid assets prices dropped during the storm of the Lehman bankruptcy and thenskyrocked voer the past few years. The investment theory of buying late and long dated reinvestment period deals with super low WACC was extremely sound. Recent sales of CLO equity have proven that strategy. When Theoharides was hired away by GE Capital to help start a new venture at GE Capital, Beller came in to monitor the portfolio.
