Fascinating question - my answer would be "None of the Above". While I don't know the answer myself, I suspect it lies with the Eurozone confusion. Ultimately, a CLO is just a vehicle to fund lending. The ECB and national central banks have distorted the funding market to the point that it's difficult to know what is normal.
