An S&P rating analyst was unable to explain an internal email in an Australian court case which sees the rating agency being sued for its role in rating a CPDO

There is a follow up article in the SMH today. The quotes from Perry Inglis don't look too encouraging for S&P. Even if S&P was not swaying over to accomodate investment banks as an organisation, it doesn't mean that individuals within the organisation weren't
