S&P downgrades Hovnanian on weak US housing market recovery

Standard & Poor's yesterday downgraded US housebuilder Hovnanian Enterprises from CCC+ to CCC as the US housing market recovery has proven weaker than previously estimated.

Hovnanian's turn-around strategy is to buy more land?! If ever there was a need for a new senior management team with fresh ideas ..... this is it.
