Moody's says its CLO sweep is over

Moody’s announced today that it has completed its review of European CLO ratings, following the end of the similar US process in October

Looks like the results of the Moody's CLO review for Euro CLOs benefited from a timing difference. When Moody's began the US review the world was in a free fall, but by the time they hit Euro deals their default rate projections had improved and the performance of existing CLOs looked better. If current trends hold, the most senior CLO classes are likely to remain or regain their Aaa ratings.
