Auction shows continued demand for CLO triple As

A bid list of five upper mezzanine CLO bonds resulted in higher than expected prices on Thursday, suggesting that demand for high quality CLOs in the secondary market continues to remain strong

AA/Aa originally rated CLO tranches now appear more than fully priced after the big run up over the last few months. Recent buyers will get a bad case of "buyer's regret" if we (the US) experiences a double dip recession which appears increasingly likely given the prospect of a "jobless recovery" and a looming trade war with China.
