Creditflux readies starting gun for 11th CLO awards
Submissions for the annual Creditflux awards are due to open shortly for the eleventh year in a row. Industry leaders from across the worlds of direct lending and CLOs will all be able to put themselves forward for the awards from 1 February. After submissions close on 15 February all managers and deals will be subject to our thorough and data-driven analysis process, with the finalists to be announced in the April issue of Creditflux. The winners themselves will be revealed as usual at our awards evening, which follows directly on from our perennially popular Credit Symposium on 9 May.
We are excited to announce this year a raft of new awards which reflect an even wider cross section of the market. The maturation of the 2.0 market has meant that this year we will be judging both the best 1.0 US CLO and the best 2.0 US CLOs redeemed in 2018. Additionally, the introduction of many new faces in the CLO universe has meant we will be judging both the best European and US ‘boutique’ CLO managers. For the first time in the awards history, we will also be looking across the wider market to reward the most prolific arrangers in Europe and the US.
This year the submission process for CLO managers is easier than ever. As long as a deal’s trustee reports are included in CLO-i, all data will be collected by our team of research analysts, and the only condition of entry is a short submission form confirming your deals’ eligibility in the various categories. The CLOs will be judged on a combination of six metrics taken from the trustee reports. Full details on the submission process and the precise methodology will be revealed when submissions open at the start of February. Direct lending funds will be able to submit their data directly once the window has opened, in order to be eligible for inclusion. You can see a full list of the awards below.
CLO funds need only be listed on our hedge fund database; please contact robin.armitage@acuris.com for further details.
