Latest News:
HSBC has announced that Asif Godall will replace Paul Gooding as head of European credit trading. Godall, who was previously co-head of HSBC’s global macro strategies desk, will be based in London, reporting functionally to Niall Cameron, global head of credit trading, and regionally to Thibaut De Roux, head of global markets for Europe, the middle east and Africa. HSBC says part of Godall’s remit will be to try to expand its product offering and target a larger share of the vanilla credit derivatives market.
Gooding will remain with HSBC, and will head up the bank’s efforts to make London a central trading hub for the Chinese yuan.
