JVC Kenwood has triggered a credit event, rules Isda

Isda’s credit derivatives determinations committee ruled today that Japan’s JVC Kenwood has triggered a restructuring credit event on its credit default swaps. A settlement auction will be held to determine the recovery rate on credit default swaps referencing the electronics maker. The date of the default was determined to be 25 August.
