Bloomberg reports that Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s head of CDO trading, Donald Quintin, is moving to Lone Star Funds. According to the article, he will join the distressed debt fund manager in August, and will invest on behalf of Lone Star’s $500 million Fund VII. The article does not where Quintin will be based, but Dallas-based Lone Star has a large team in New York, so it seems likely that he will remain there. Quintin joined Merrill Lynch in 2007 from Citi.
