Broker dealer hires global ABS strategy head

Knight Libertas UK has appointed Ronald Thompson as managing director, global head of ABS strategy, according to an announcement by Knight Capital Group today. Based in London, Thompson will work with Ronak Khichadia, managing director, global head of ABS/MBS sales and trading. The firm says it is growing its platform globally and that strategy will play a key role in expanding its franchise across the structured markets.

Knight Libertas is an institutional fixed income broker-dealer providing trade execution, fundamental investment research across a range of fixed income securities including ABS/MBS. Knight also provides secondary market liquidity and credit-based analysis for high grade and high yield bonds, bank loans, emerging market credit and sovereigns as well as and capital markets.
