Markit announces sovereign index launch date

Markit has announced that the iTraxx SovX Western Europe index is due to start trading on 28 September. This is the first of the iTraxx SovX indices to be tradable.
Market makers in the iTraxx SovX Western Europe index include Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Barclays Capital, BNP Paribas, Citi, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and Nomura.
