Trioptima has announced that it has eliminated $5.5 trillion in notional credit default swaps in the first three months of 2009 through its triReduce trade compression service. The company says it has carried out 12 compression cycles for US and European indices, tranches, ABX and emerging markets credit default swaps this year. It says it offered 50 cycles in 2008.
