The International Swaps and Derivatives Association today announced the schedule for the ‘draft auction settlement supplement and protocol' and for the ‘credit derivatives determinations committee' that are constituent parts of its hardwiring process.
Through hardwiring, Isda will incorporate into its standard documentation the auction settlement of contracts after a default or other credit event on a company referenced in credit default swap transactions.
Isda proposes to publish the auction settlement supplement and open the protocol on 12 March. The protocol will be open for adherence until 7 April. Upon closure of the protocol, changes to the documentation covered would take effect.
