Independent global markets and advisory firm StormHarbour has announced that it has made three new senior appointments in its Geneva office. Alberto Ferro-Villani has joined as a director of capital markets and origination, while Hugues Dauphin has joined as a director, client solutions, and Vincent Briffaud as an associate, client solutions. All three report directly to Cyril Martinez, principal and general manager of StormHarbour (Suisse).
These appointments come shortly after the firm announced the addition of 30 senior professionals to its US and UK businesses in December. StormHarbour’s core businesses are fixed income sales and trading, structuring and advisory, capital markets, and asset management. The hires of Ferro-Villani, Dauphin and Briffaud mark the first of a number of new additions the firm says it plans to make in Geneva to build-out its client coverage and product and advisory offering in the country.
Ferro-Villani arrives from Hepta Capital Partners, a Geneva-based alternative investment group, where he was managing director of its mid-sized corporate-focused private equity fund. Prior to HCP, he worked at Credit Suisse on the corporate debt derivatives desk.
Dauphin joins from Calyon (Suisse) in Geneva, where he was most recently an executive director and head of structured credit distribution, covering all Swiss financial institutions. Briffaud joins from BNP Paribas in London, where he was an associate in the fixed income division’s structured credit solutions team.
