Finra probes investment banks over CDOs, reports Bloomberg

Bloomberg reports that Finra has been looking into conflicts of interest in synthetic CDO deals arranged by Morgan Stanley, Barclays and Credit Suisse. The US regulator’s investigations parallel those by the SEC, which earlier this year sued Goldman Sachs over the way it sold a CDO referencing mortgage-backed securities.
