RBC announces hire of former SocGen structured credit head

Royal Bank of Canada has hired a former head of structured credit at Societe Generale for a role as head of structured interest rate sales. RBC says that Bertrand Fitoussi will join it as a managing director reporting to fixed income sales head Avril Pomper. Fitoussi headed up SocGen’s structured credit business for several years before moving into the rates business within the French bank.
