The former head of Bank of Scotland’s treasury investment portfolio has joined Markit, according to a statement from the data provider. Paddle, who was responsible for Bank of Scotland’s credit liquidity portfolio and its structured investment portfolio, is the latest of a succession of former sell-side and buy-side market officials who have joined Markit. His recruitment follows the recent hires of Sal Naro, former managing partner at credit hedge fund Sailfish Capital Partners, and Morgan Stanley credit trading head Armins Rusis.
