Bank announces structured appointments

Rabobank has announced three appointments to its client structured products group following an integration of asset classes within the division. The firm aims to bring together trading, structuring and engineering across credit, fixed income, equity, hybrid, and FX.

Among the new appointments, Jasper van Wel who becomes European head of client structured products, Xavier Ducros becomes European head of structuring and Franz Maier global head of financial engineering. Ducros and Maier have been with Rabobank for two and ten years respectively.

Van Wel will join Rabobank in London on 1 May and will report to Donal Galvin, global head of client structured products. Van Wel will be responsible for all trading and structuring of these products. Previously he worked as a trader at MKM Longboat Capital Advisors and before that at ABN Amro as head of alternatives trading.
