NewOak Capital has appointed former CDO and CLO restructuring specialist Samuel Warren to direct its RMBS structuring solutions team, reports Structured Finance News. The group he joins already deals in the RMBS, CMBS and CDO/CLO space, and NewOak has appointed Warren to further its residential loans credit management capabilities, says the article.
Previously Warren worked in structuring and trading reREMIC securities, having spent time at both Deutsche Bank and Lehman Brothers. He was an MBS trader at Deutsche, responsible for the issuance of over $8 billion in reREMIC securitisations and also led the Allt-A new issue team of the MBS trading desk. At Lehman, he was a member of the banking and structuring team, which completed $9 billion of RMBS/home-equity issuance and created ABCP conduits for third parties.
