Strategist wins trading prize
Tuesday, October 27, 2009. Dan Alderson

The first Creditflux trading game, hosted by Traccr, came to a thrilling conclusion last month, with top positions changing hands in the final session.

The game, a simulation of real credit market trading, drew a strong field, capped at 100 industry specialists.

New York-based Goldman Sachs credit strategist Alberto Gallo, trading as “albert103”, took top honours after a photo finish with JP Morgan’s Robert Himmelbauer (“kEinstein”) and third-placed “jiesun” – who had led in the previous week, but chose to remain anonymous.

Congratulations go to these three, and also to the two other players in the top five, “negative_gamma” and “Paranoid”, who turned out to be George Sarras of
Lehman Brothers.

All five win an iPod.
