US high yield default rate falls to 5.4%, says Moody's

Moody’s calculates that the US high yield default rate fell in July to a rolling 12-month rate of 5.4% from 6.4% the previous month. Meanwhile, the European high yield default rate rose from 5.7% to 6.2%, driven higher by the spike in European defaults, most of which is accounted for by Wind Hellas.
