Monday, March 15, 2010

Danish firm Vestas Wind Systems has sold €600 million of bonds at 225bp above five-year swaps on its debut in the credit market, according to various reports. The deal was said to be two times oversubscribed. Vestas, the world’s largest maker of wind turbines, said earlier today that the proceeds of the sale will be used for general financing. Book-running on the bonds was reportedly led by Nordea, Rabobank, Societe Generale and UniCredit.
