Sensor maker extends early bird tender

Monday, March 15, 2010

Electronic sensor maker Sensata has extended its early bird tender by a week to Thursday 18 March following a disappointing response to its offer on the 2014-dated 8% senior notes, 11.25% subordinated notes and 2016-dated 9% subordinated notes. The company has only received about $99 million of its targeted $350 million in aggregate tenders to date but has not improved the terms of the offer. The tender itself expires 25 March.

Sensata completed its IPO last week with much of the proceeds to be used to cut debt.
