Pfizer completes debt offer

Pfizer announced yesterday that it has successfully completed its debt offering of €5.85 billion and £1.5 billion of senior unsecured notes (approximate total of $10.5 billion). The relevant notes are:

  • €1.85 billion of 3.625% notes due 2013
  • €2 billion of 4.75% notes due 2016
  • €2 billion of 5.75% notes due 2021
  • £12.5 billion of 6.5% notes due 2038

The company’s 354-day bridge term loan credit agreement, dated 12 March, has been terminated as a result.
