Markit postpones CDX family index rolls again

Due to market conditions and calls from market participants, Markit says it has decided to postpone until 2 October the roll of CDX IG, HVol, and XO indices into series 11, as well as CDX EM S10, and CDX EM Diversified S8. The new indices were previously due to roll Monday 29 September, having already been delayed by a week due to Lehman Brothers' credit event and other market turmoil.
Markit says the indices will have an annex date of 2 October, and maintain their effective date of 21 September.
