Phoenix appoints partners and hires for structured sales

Interdealer broker Phoenix Partners has hired Toby Mitchell to its New York office from Bank of America. He joins from a structured product sales role at the bank, focusing on credit derivatives, CDOs, Correlation, RMBS, ABS and CMBS products. Prior to that he covered hedge fund sales for single-name credit derivatives, index and correlation tranches.

Meanwhile Phoenix has also promoted Sean McNally and Ezra Lunde to partner. McNally will be charged with building out the broker’s investment grade single name business, while Lunde will look to develop its investment grade and high yield index franchise.
