GSO/Blackstone has announced six CLO investments after raising an additional $77 million for Carador, the manager’s CLO fund, last month. The six investments cost $38.2 million while the assets have a par value of $45.175 million, implying an average purchase price of 84.56 cents for the positions, comprising CLO equity as well as some CLO mezz.
The biggest purchase was a $12.5 million cut of the equity tranche in Callidus CLO VI, a deal that is also managed by GSO/Blackstone. A $3 million piece of the double-B notes in ING IM CLO 2011 was also snapped up while investments were also made in Cornerstone CLO, Gale Force 1 and Carlyle Daytona.
