Blackrock launches long-short credit fund

BlackRock has announced the launch of a new mutual fund, with an active credit trading strategy. The BlackRock Global Long/Short Credit Fund will be managed by two credit specialists who joined BlackRock when it acquired R3 Capital Management in 2009, European credit head Michael Phelps and Joshua Tarnow, who is based in the US.
