Northill Capital, a London-based asset manager has announced the launch of Goldbridge Capital Partners, a new European credit asset management company. Backed by Northill, Goldbridge will have up to $100 million of equity and seed capital from its inception.
The firm will focus on opportunities in the European distressed and high yield sectors, and says it will seek to profit from the "opportunity presented by the refinancing glut" in the market.
Goldbridge is led by Gina Germano, a former partner at BlueBay Asset Management who also previously worked at Lazard and Morgan Stanley, and supported by Dipankar Shewaram, also formerly of BlueBay, as well as Western Asset Management.
Northill Capital was established in November 2010 by Jon Little, former vice-chairman of BNY Mellon Asset Management.
