Pension fund invests in credit hedge fund, reports HFM Week

HFM Week reports that the City of Austin Police Retirement System has made a new allocation to a credit hedge fund. Based on published minutes, the article says that the pension fund approved a $5m allocation to the JLP Credit Opportunities Fund, which focuses on distressed corporate bonds and capital structure arbitrage.
