PVE Capital adds staff and assets under management

PVE Capital has announced that it has increased its assets under management to over $300 million. The firm, whose flagship fund is the Matrix PVE Global Credit Fund, says it has also made several hires to take its tally of investment professionals to six. It recently took on Elena Ciampichetti, previously at Citi, as head of credit research and Judith Newman as research analyst.

Newman most recently worked at London-based credit hedge fund manager Credaris, where PVE founders Gennaro Pucci and Christian Evans were previously employed. The long-short Matrix PVE Global Credit Fund is managed as a joint venture between PVE Capital and Matrix Alternative Asset Management.
