Alternative multimanager advisory and fund of hedge fund boutique, Hermes BPK Partners, has appointed Glyn Jones as its new chairman, according to a press release.
Jones was formerly chief executive officer of Coutts, Gartmore and latterly of Thames River Capital. He will now advise on the building third party business.
Hermes BPK Partners invests in distressed and credit hedge fund strategies and is a partnership between its managers and UK fund firm Hermes, which is owned by the £39 billion BT pension scheme.
The BT pension scheme has provided initial seed capital of £900 million to Hermes BPK.
The founding partners of Hermes BPK are Matteo Dante Perruccio, Mark Barker and Gregory Knott.
