When Creditflux held its first awards dinner in September 2007, the idea of picking the best CDO and credit hedge fund managers based purely on performance was something of a novelty. In 2008, winning one of these trophies is a valuable tool in the urgent battle to attract new investors and retain old ones.

No matter how difficult the market conditions may be, many CDOs and funds are still producing outstanding performance. The Creditflux Manager Awards recognise those achievements, and brings much needed objectivity to the structured credit market.

The uniquely quantitative approach with a fully transparent methodology means that investors and rival managers alike can be clear on the criteria required to be a winner or finalist for these awards.

As a result, despite a tumultuous market environment, the industry turned out in force to celebrate the best performing CDO and credit hedge fund managers.
